This is to confirm that Urmic.org has no objection to any individual, company, organisation, system integrator or service provider providing paid professional services in connection with software published by Urmic.org under the Urmi Licence.
Such paid services may include, but are not limited to:
- Software installation and deployment;
- Configuration and integration;
- Server/system administration;
- Maintenance and technical support;
- Consultancy;
- Other lawful professional services.
Commercial Charging
The service provider is expressly permitted to charge its own professional/service fees for such services.
However, the software itself is not being sold, leased, resold or commercially licensed by the service provider. The software remains subject to the terms and conditions of the Urmi Licence ( https://github.com/shreebhattji/Urmi ).
For transparency, invoices should separately identify, wherever applicable:
- Professional / Service Charges – amount charged by the service provider for installation, configuration, maintenance, support, etc.;
- Hardware / Equipment Cost – actual hardware or equipment supplied, if any;
- Urmi Licence / Software – identified separately as software provided under the Urmi Licence and not as a sale of the software.
No service provider is authorized by this NOC to claim ownership of the software or to sell, lease, sub license or resell the software contrary to the Urmi Licence.
This NOC constitutes permission from the publisher/copyright owner for the provision of paid services relating to the software and does not transfer copyright or ownership of the software.
